My Truck is often a 2008 and I Slash the Blue wire at the rear of the radio (coming with the red box) and ran a fuse backlink and needed to hook it to a Hot supply. I have done this to two 2008's. Did a write up last calendar https://aaacollectionagencyinc.com/about_us.html
